Insurance
The following is applicable to the Junior Section of Ratoath Harps AFC:
Ratoath Harps insurance covers all activities of football within the club i.e. training and all competitive & friendly matches for paid & registered members. All injuries must be reported to team management Immediately who will complete a Club Incident Form and forward same to HonSecretary@ratoathharps.club. Physiotherapy is covered up to € 250.00 per player per season.
The club has a contract with a nominated physiotherapist. Should a player require treatment, upon receipt of the club incident form, our Hon Secretary will share the players details with the physiotherapist and authorize treatment. The therapist will invoice the club directly. We wish to clearly state that any Physiotherapy bills will not be paid unless agreed prior by Harps main committee.
Please note the above reporting procedures regarding injuries must be adhered to before treatment commences and all players must be fully paid up members otherwise claim will be void. Any player who attends Accident and Emergency must pay the relevant charge and obtain a receipt for same and forward to club insurance officer and doctor in hospital can issue letter stating physiotherapy is required saving a trip to GP. All medical expenses other that Accident and Emergency treatment must be certified by G.P. Medical Expenses are for irrecoverable expenses only, therefore if a player holds private health insurance then they must pursue a claim under that policy first.
The Club’s insurance is a secondary insurance. Members are expected to claim under private health insurance where available i.e. VHI, BUPA etc. N.B. It is critically important that all personal injuries claims be notified to the Club within 30 days if insurance cover is to be maintained. Claims notified to our insurers after that time will not be entertained.
The following is applicable to the Leinster Senior League Section of Ratoath Harps AFC:
Please note all players are insured Directly by Leinster Senior League once they have paid their registration Fee to the League. The following is the link to pay their LSL fees inclusive of insurance:

It is the responsibility of each individual player to ensure they have adequate insurance in place and Ratoath Harps will not accept any responsibility for any injuries that occur. All injuries must be reported to team management Immediately who will complete a Club Incident Form and forward same to LSLSecretary@RatoathHarps.club . N.B. It is critically important that all claims be notified to the Club with regard within 7 days if insurance cover is to be maintained.
Claims notified to our Leinster Senior League insurers after that time will not be entertained
