Dear valued members,

After a long winter & challenging time for all, we are delighted to have the green light to welcome our junior section back to training from 26th April. The committee worked tirelessly during the lock down to keep the club in good shape. We are busy getting the grounds ready for your return.

All will return in the groups they were in prior to the latest lockdown. Football will continue (all going well on the covid front) throughout the summer with minimal breaks between now and May 2022. As information on competitive games and league formats comes through, the groups will be adapted to meet the new parameters. In the meantime your current coach will be in touch with you re training times for the coming weeks.

New members are welcome to train with us and if possible we will do our utmost to find them places on teams when we get to playing games again. If you are interested in joining, please send a mail with your details to coachingteam@ratoathharps.club. Contacting or arranging with coaches directly is not permitted as we have to properly manage membership numbers and insurance coverage.

When last permitted to train & play, our volunteers & coaches did a terrific job in guiding & educating our members on best practice related to Covid prevention to protect our players. We will continue our efforts on this front. However society is now more informed on what is required in the fight against Covid. We call upon our membership to continue their personal good habits & take their responsibility to keep the virus out of our club. It’s a shared responsibility to minimise risk.

The long evenings, rising temperatures, freshly cut grass & sight of seeing football activity is something to truly look forward to & gives us a great focal point for summer 2021.

We hope to see our academies return during May & await government advice for our senior section. More info to follow on these sections in the weeks ahead.
